Athidi Social Service Society (ASSS) -Scuccess Story

Smt.sri Sumalatha has studied Tenth class, Lives in LB Nagar, Warangal. Sumalatha became member of SHG Group by name Manasa SHG. She got married and her husband is daily wage labourer and she also worked as daily labourer but could not survive. One day she came to know about Training batch to be started at our locality by he Athidi Society with the support of NABARD, then She approached the staff of the Organization along with SHG members, and she joined the training programme of 13 days which was supported By NABARD under MEDP Scheme in the year 2014-15. She joined the Embroidery Course and learnt with interest as trained by Resource Persons. Sumalatha has started taking orders of the Embroidery at Home itself which she used to do it after regular work in cloth Stories. One day she have left the work In cloth store and taken up work Embroidery as full time profession.

Today she is earning a amount of 30,000/- per month from Embroidery work at Home working for various shops in Warangal and also business. She is helping her husband by supporting with her share of earnings to meet both the ends. She thanked Athidi Society and NABARD for providing the wonderful opportunity to earn through the skill she has learnt for her livelihood.
